Individual & Family Legal Plans

LegalShield personal plans give you access to a provider law firm for everyday legal questions — from a will and power of attorney to a lease, a traffic ticket, or a billing dispute. Higher plan levels extend coverage to eligible children and add more services.

Plan levels

Three personal plans — including family coverage.

LegalShield offers three personal legal plans. Who is covered depends on the plan you choose. Current pricing is shown on Cameron’s associate website.

Who each plan covers

  • Basic

    You and your spouse

  • Preferred

You, your spouse, and eligible dependent children

  • Premium

You, your spouse, and eligible dependent children

General membership features

Included in every personal plan.

These services are part of all three personal plans. Where amounts differ by plan, the range is shown.

  • Legal advice and consultation

Talk with a provider law firm about an unlimited number of personal legal issues — including family-related questions.

  • Letters and calls on your behalf

A provider attorney can write letters or make phone calls for you on covered matters.

  • Document review

Review of personal legal documents — up to 15, 25, or 35 pages each, depending on the plan.

  • Will and power of attorney

Preparation of your will and a durable power of attorney. Higher plans include annual will updates.

  • Consumer disputes

Advice on everyday consumer issues such as debt, billing, and warranty problems.

  • Traffic ticket assistance

1, 2, or 3 tickets per covered person per year, depending on the plan. A $79 fee applies each time a court appearance is required.

  • Legal research

Up to 1 hour of legal research per issue.

  • Civil trial defense

A set number of pre-trial and trial hours if you are sued in a covered civil matter. Hours start lower in the first year and grow with membership.

  • Emergency access and digital tools

24/7 emergency access, e-signatures, and online notarizations (number varies by plan).

  • Discounts on additional services

15% (Basic) or 25% (Preferred and Premium) off additional legal services from the provider law firm.

Important information about LegalShield memberships

Membership plans, pricing, services, and availability are subject to current LegalShield terms and may vary by location and selected membership.

LegalShield memberships are offered by Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc. (“PPLSI”), which provides members access to legal services through a network of independent provider law firms. Legal services are provided by participating provider law firms or attorneys under the terms of the membership you select.

LegalShield memberships are legal service plans, not insurance policies. Not every legal matter is covered, and covered services have limits. Enrollment and payment are completed on LegalShield’s associate website — not on mbsolutions.biz.
