Small Business Legal Plans

LegalShield small business plans give eligible business owners access to a provider attorney for everyday business questions — reviewing contracts, sending letters, collecting unpaid invoices, and getting help with an IRS audit.

Higher plans add specialty-law consultations, out-of-state help for the same business, and higher yearly limits.

  • Help with out-of-state matters for the same EIN (Basic: out-of-state consultation only)
  • More document checks, letters, collection letters, and IRS audit hours

Premium only

  • Two business owners and up to 10 authorized users
  • Unlimited letters and calls, and unlimited debt collection letters
  • Unlimited document checks and calls or letters on out-of-state matters (same EIN)

Limits and exclusions

Limits and exclusions

  • Filing fees, search fees, opinion letters, and other expenses are paid by the member.
  • Custom contract drafting excludes matters such as mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, private placements, franchise agreements, administrative or regulatory matters, and lawsuit documents. Negotiations and redrafts are available at a discount.
  • Covered services have per-year, page, and hour limits, and not every business dispute is covered.
  • Benefits and availability vary by state. The member contract for your state has the complete terms, limitations, and exclusions.

Important information about LegalShield memberships

Membership plans, pricing, services, and availability are subject to current LegalShield terms and may vary by location and selected membership.
