How a LegalShield membership generally works.
Instead of paying an attorney by the hour for covered services, members pay a membership fee and contact a provider law firm in their state when a covered legal question comes up.
Step 1: Compare plans
Review personal, family, and small-business memberships and current pricing on Cameron’s official LegalShield associate website.
Step 2: Enroll with LegalShield
Choose a membership and complete enrollment and payment on LegalShield’s secure associate site.
Step 3: Set up your account
Create your member account and add a covered spouse or eligible dependents, if your plan includes them.
Step 4: Contact your provider law firm
Reach a participating provider law firm by phone or the LegalShield app when a covered legal question comes up.

LegalShield memberships are a distinct service. Buying one doesn’t affect any insurance policy or notary appointment, and MBS insurance or notary services don’t include legal advice.
